Key Supercoach Players: Round 13

Here are a few players on that are worth selling/buying/keeping an eye on for SuperCoach from what we’ve seen so far.

At this stage make sure you use your trades wisely!

6 weeks left until the finals!

Bargains of the week

Jason Gram
We have all seen the form Gram can display and with a tidy 96 points last week Gram looks set to expload against Richmond. Priced at $383,000 Gram is very obtainable for most teams and with his 28 point break-even point is sure to go up in value- although at this point your priority should be scores!

Jonathan Brown
Brisbane look so much more formidable with a fit and firing J. Brown in their side and so would you! Averaging a solid 93 points and showing signs last week that he is ready for the business end of the season with a very good 130 SuperCoach points… at $440,400 don’t wait a week to see if he gets cheaper because with a breakeven of 18 points it just isn’t going to happen.

Sam Mitchell
Although he is perhaps on the expensive side at $517,400, you can be assured that Mitchell will give you a solid score around his average (107PT’s) every week and if Hawthorn do decide to get motoring any time soon expect to see more scores like last week where he recorded an impressive 142 SuperCoach points.

One-gamers to keep an eye on

Tyrone Vickery
For a young ruckman Vickery had a respectable debut game but I’d expect to see him in and out of the side and I doubt we’ll see scores much better than his 50 this week.

Nick Naitanui
Boy can this guy jump! In a similar situation to Vickery but is in the same side as Cox so it’s going to be even harder to score as evidenced by his 39 points.

Cruize Garlett
Struggled to get much of the football in his first game (7 touches) but pleasingly had a crack, who knows what the new coach will do.

Liam Jurrah
Will get games and has good attributes, Jurrah is the talk of the town. 51 points is a solid effort for his first crack at it. Keep an eye on his second game and then consider your options from there.

The ones that make you go ‘Ouch’if you’ve got / the ones that you are waiting to bottom out

Jack Ziebell
At $279,000 it really hurt those of you who still had Ziebell to see him go down early in his game, if you can now is the time to upgrade him to someone like J. Brown.

Daniel Motlop
Those of you have Motlop will be feeling sorry for yourselves as he is gone for the year now. I’d suggest the same course of action as I did for those of you who have Ziebell….if you have both, I feel for you.

Daniel Bradshaw
This bad man really hurt my side this week and I’m sure I’m not the only one, if you don’t have him he has a breakeven of 121 points and is currently priced at $404,500 if he fails to perform this week he could be an absolute bargain for the last few rounds.

Previous week’s tips reviewed
Leon Davis
With his return to form last week his current price of $550, 000 is a reasonable get if you have the money to spare, Davis will win you some games but consistency may be an issue, if you can hold off a week as his break-even is still a huge 146 points and from there he should do nothing but reward you.

Alan Didak
If you have even the slightest feeling Didak can continue his form from round 11 and 12 then his $484,000 price point should be too hard to resist. As much as it pains me to say it Didak is capable of making the difference between making finals in your league or not.
