Key SuperCoach players for round 17

Here are a few players that are worth selling/buying/keeping an eye on for SuperCoach from what we’ve seen so far.

Only 2 weeks until the finals!

Bargains of the week

Brent Harvey
After what has been a pretty horrid year for Harvey, it finally looks like he has bottomed out with his price currently at $406 700 after starting the year priced at $605 400.
His game last week against Richmond was excellent whilst scoring 129pt’s in the process. He has a break-even on 38pt’s this week so unless he gets injured; his price is only going to go up from here onwards.

Michael Hurley
He’s played 3 games now so his price has gone up to $220 600 after starting at $154 200, but in those 3 games, he has averaged 83pt’s. Added to the fact that he actually looks like a ripper of a player which means that he is unlikely to be dropped.

Lance Franklin
He’s back baby, He’s back!”.

Clarkson is finally doing what many fans were hoping him to do at the start of the season when they picked him and is giving him runs in the midfield to get his hands on the ball, whilst also kicking goals. He bottomed out a few weeks ago but I’d jump on soon with his price currently at $387 100 and a negative break-even. Even if he scores his season average of 84pt’s this week, his price is going to rise to $450 000.

Hamish McIntosh
For a ruckman averaging 97pt’s a game; a price of $408 300 is excellent and too good to miss if you don’t have him already.

The ones that make you go ‘Ouch’ if you’ve got / the ones that you are waiting to bottom out

Daniel Bradshaw
‘Out for 3 weeks with a hamstring-strain. Not ideal to have just before the finals…..
Priced at $367 300, a good trade option would be for someone like Cyril Rioli ( at $338 000) who looked a little better last week against the Pies and will no doubt pull out some good performances soon.

Mark McVeigh
He’s really struggling for form after his suspensions, although there was talk of him carrying an injury as well which would explain a lot.

His price of $364 700 is excellent for someone who can score high’ consistently so wait until he pulls out a good score and then jump on him.

Scott Pendlebury
Considering his peak was $634 000, and now he’s priced at $396 500; I’d normally be telling you to jump on. But since his knee injury against the Swans, he’s only been averaging 79pt’s after previously averaging 119pt’s. He actually scores pretty well against Carlton averaging 117pt’s from 4 appearances against them so he could be a bargain, but I’d hold off for one more week.

Previous players revisited

I was absolutely wrong on Travis Cloke who has scored 47pt’s and 29pts since I last spruiked him as a potential bargain….
The same could be said for Paul Medhurst who has been poor as well averaging47pt’s since returning from injury. ‘Looks like his ankle is still troubling him.
At least I got Luke Hodge correct though. If you have the money – GET HIM.
It’s the very last chance to jump on Jonathan Brown – $507 700 with a break-even score of 33pt’s.
