On paper, Ben Griffiths looks like a top 10 draftee.
He is tall (198cm), a really good size (99kg), has good hands, moves extremely well for a guy his size, can play CHF or FF, puts his body on the line and he is a good thumping kick for goal.
With the fears about injuries, come with the worry over him being able to take the increased workload that comes with being an AFL footballer, which is a worry for such a big potential investment.
Going past that, everything else is great on Ben Griffith’s front.
His marking for me, is one of his best features. He constantly brings the ball in when ever he makes solid contact with the ball that makes I hard to defend. His longer than usual arms also help him excel in marking.
His kicking for goal is also quite good as well. The fact that he can kick 50+ meters quite easily helps.
If he’s picked on potential, he’s a late first rounder, but really, he could go anywhere.
