Position: Wing/Half Back Flanker

A favorite of Emma Quayles ‘JP’ is a draft prospect that more and more people are talking about. Despite his slight build Pittard has acquitted himself quite well in his Aussie Rules career thus far.

Pittard is very much your modern Halfback Flanker in that he has great vision/awareness and an ability to set up play with a few well placed possessions. Pittard is said to have a great football brain and that is what is winning him fans.

That football brain allows Pittard to seem that bit more athletic on the football field, Pittard does have a solid all-round athletic base but it is his decision making that makes him seem agile or quick off the mark at times.

The big knock on Pittard is his size (71 kg), but all the good judges seem to think he’ll overcome that disadvantage/remove it so it shouldn’t be too much of an issue.

I have him just missing the first round but it wouldn’t surprise me to see him sneak in.
