Going by that, a club has obviously indicated that they will draft him with speculation that Collingwood and Hawthorn will snap him up with their first available picks.
Despite his size and height (176cm/74kg), he is excellent at clearances due to his ability to read the play and his willingness to keep himself moving whilst most players are stationary. When he wins a clearance, it’s not unusual to see him bursting through a pack to see him kick (on either side) the kick may be lacking depth, but is beautifully weighted.
In terms of things he needs to improve on, his fitness has been questioned which is a bit of a problem given that he is primarily a midfielder.
His kicking, whilst is good, lacks depth and is something that he’ll need to improve on if he wants to make the most of his good decision making.
Look for him to be a late 2nd round – 3rd round pick.
