Fremantle and Sydney are out of the race for the flag. Geelong and a limping Western Bulldogs are through to face tougher opposition.

Here are this week’s Answers.

Geelong vs. Fremantle

Match Review

Can Geelong come out breathing fire after a patchy game last week?
Yes, they came out and smashed Fremantle in the first half.
Will it be a blow-out as expected?
Yes, 11 goals.
How much will the wet help them like it seemingly did last week?
It wasn’t that wet.
Can Freo use their pace to advantage?
No, Geelong’s ball movement was better.
Will Joel Selwood come out like a man-possessed after a shocker last week?
He wasn’t best on, so he wasn’t that good but he did have 33 touches and a goal.
Will Tom Hawkins do enough to keep his shaky spot the team (providing they get though of course)?
Yes, he kicked a goal and was pushed through the ruck a bit.
How much will Aaron Sandilands knee impact on his performance?
A lot. He was well below his best, despite the trash talk in the Freo camp.
How will pests Ryan Crowley and McPhee go on their respective opponents?
Chapman and Selwood respectively.
Will either team look a genuine chance against Collingwood?
Geelong looks like they could really push the ‘Wood.

Western Bulldogs vs. Sydney

Match Review

How will the Bulldogs react after being savaged in the press this week?
Badly in the first half but somehow managed to win.
Will the Swans be tired, or full of energy after last week’s close shave?
They were a little bit out a steam buy the end of the match.
Can the Bulldogs improve on their horrible kicking from last week?
They kicked 11.11 (minus rushed behinds) so that’s an improvement.
How will Daniel Bradshaw’s return to football pan out?
Pretty well, he had his chances. He kicked 3.4 which is a bit disappointing for him and had trouble with his knee as usual. Was he a bit under-done?
How will debutant Andrew Hooper turn out in his first game / final?
Pretty crap other than getting a goal.
Which of the old retirees will have the better game out of Kirk and Johnno?
Kirk was tagging and Johnno was being Johnno. Neither had a good game really. I think it was close to a draw.
Will either team look like a genuine chance against St Kilda?
Absolutely not. Western Bulldogs should have been out of the game at half time.

I'm fiercely logical, opinionated and don't care too much for backlash. Luckily, I'm always right. Did I mention that I'm arrogant? I also support Melbourne; the most illogical thing I do. Oh... I'm contradictory as well.
