Age: 21
Position: Forward
History: Isaac Smith has come out of nowhere in 2010 to become a strong contender to go in round one of the draft. He began the year playing out in the country for Redan in the Ballarat league, before North Ballarat decided to pick him up in the VFL.
He played in three reserves matches for the Roosters before debuting late in the season. He managed to play an important part in North Ballarat’s VFL Premiership in just his sixth senior match for the club. This was largely due to his pace, endurance, and agility.
Talk suggest that Geelong are keen on him, and if they pick him up it would see them continue with selecting some mature age players like in previous years. Matthew Stokes and Harry Taylor are the two biggest names that they have picked up in this fashion.
Statistics in the 2010 VFL Season for North Ballarat:
| Matches | 6 |
| Goals | 7 |
| Goals Ave | 1 |
