Matthew Buntine in detail

Matthew Buntine is a surprisingly under hyped player so far this year. Perhaps it is because he is so team oriented that his performances don’t always stand out.

Buntine is the sort of player who will fit into almost any back line. He is capable of shutting down most forwards whether tall or small and can also play the quarter back role due to his great read on the play.

Buntine hasn’t had the greatest championships but he has shown enough over his junior football career to go in the first round of the 2011 draft at this stage, if he slipped any further than that he’d be an absolute steal.

Additional thoughts: Buntine is a ready made player as it stands so should be quite attractive to GWS/Gold Coast. Will go top 15.
