Brandon Ellis is a smart defender from the Calder Cannons, who’s read of the play and good disposal allow him to play the ‘quarter back role’.
Better still Ellis doesn’t just rely on his read of the play to gather his disposals; he also wins a lot of his own football, which in today’s football is an absolute must.
Ellis is the sort of player the Gold Coast Suns and the GWS Giants would really benefit from selecting as he is ready to play now if necessary but has plenty of improvement left in him.
