Michael Talia in detail

Michael Talia is a tall defender from Vic Metro and perhaps one of the better talls in the draft.

Talia actually has a game style pretty similar to his older brother Daniel in that he is happy to out mark his opponent and looks to set up play on the rebound.

Michael’s foot skills and defensive work do need improving but he has worked hard on both areas and as a result you can almost see the improvement with each game.

Michael is one of the few players I have seen able to control Patton so he does have the ability to shut down even the most dangerous key forwards, I’d just like to see it a bit more consistently.

In my mind Talia is a first round draft pick certainty as quality key position defenders are rare, he could slide to the second round though depending on club needs.
