Richmond’s Trent Cotchin has been awarded the Jack Dyer Medal as the Tigers best and fairest player for season 2011. He has won the medal with 236 votes ahead of Brett Deledio (203) and Dustin Martin (198).
At the young age of 21, Cotchin played in all of the Tigers 22 home and away games this season. He was one of the standout Richmond players this year alongside Deledio and Martin, leading the club in kicks and clearances. In all his matches this season he averaged almost 24 disposals, 17 kicks, 17 handballs, 4 marks, 3tackles and 5 inside 50s.
