Essendon Best and Fairest 2011 – Crichton Medal

Essendon’s David Zaharakis has been awarded the Cricthon Medal as the best and fairest player for the Bombers in 2011. Zaharakis finished on 332 votes ahead of Brent Stanton (313) and Michael Hurley (292).

Zaharakis was probably the most consistent Bombers player for the year, leading the club in goal assists. He played in all 22 games this year and averaged 20 disposals, 12 kicks, 8 handballs, 4 marks and tackles.
