SportsBet Odds: $1.38 vs $3.10
5th vs. 16th
Fremantle lost fourth spot on the AFL ladder last week and will be looking to get back on the winners list against rivals West Coast in the traditional derby. West Coast still remains on the bottom of the ladder but are only one win away from getting off the bottom which must be their goal for the rest of the season. (more…)

Western Bulldos – 24.14 (158)
Fremantle – 12.4 (76)
The Western Bulldogs have dismantled a disappointing Fremantle side by 82 points and in doing so have moved into the top 4. The win was set up by a dominant first quarter in which they kicked 9 goals to three and from that point on were never really challenged. (more…)

SportsBet Odds: $1.32 vs $3.40
5th vs. 4th
One of the most important matches of the round considering the positioning of both Clubs on the AFL ladder. The Western Bulldogs sit one game behind the Dockers and a win in this match will see them creep into the top 4 on percentage. Everyone it would seem still is not sold on Fremantle and this match in Melbourne will really show where they are at. (more…)

Fremantle – 11.16 (82)
Melbourne – 10.11 (71)
Fremantle blasted Melbourne in the first quarter and continued their good work in the second. The shocking happened though; Melbourne came back. They kicked seven unanswered goals and came within a point of the Dockers. Fremantle regained their composure to secure a fairly key win for them to stay in the hunt for the four. (more…)

Fremantle vs. Melbourne
SportsBet Odds: $1.27 vs $3.90
4th vs. 11th
Last time these two teams met Melbourne destroyed Fremantle at the MCG. However close to one year on I don’t think many would have thought that Fremantle would be in the strong position they find themselves in late in the season. Melbourne last week had a massive win over Essendon, while Fremantle had a slip up against Richmond in Melbourne. (more…)

Richmond vs. Fremantle
SportsBet Odds: $2.67 vs $1.48
15th vs. 4th
This surprisingly shapes as a real test for Fremantle who travel to Melbourne without Michael Barlow and the chance to remain in the top 4 and set up the rest of there season. The Tigers are coming off a great win against Sydney and are one of the in form teams at present and will want to continue this form. (more…)

ContestedFooty’s start of the year preview
14th-16th I’m probably one of the rare few that don’t always pour scorn over the Dockers for some reason. It could be my consistently low expectations I have of them.
Really; it’s more due to their comprehensive re-build that they are going through with Mark Harvey, that has seen them turn-over way more than any other team over the past few years. (more…)

Fremantle – 17.13 (115)
Port Adelaide – 8.10 (58)
Fremantle has continued its winning run in 2010 with an emphatic victory over a disappointing Port Adelaide team. Fremantle controlled the game from the first bounce and were never really challenged by Port who again struggled to impact the scoreboard. (more…)

SportsBet Odds: $1.16 vs $5.30
4th vs. 12th
Fremantle go into this match as the heavy favourite which is understandable given their current form and that of their opposition. Port Adelaide has lost their past 6 matches and faces a difficult task against a Fremantle team that will be looking to cement a spot in the top 4. (more…)
