Geelong has defeated Fremantle in the first of the semi-finals and in doing so has set up a mouth-watering preliminary final clash with Collingwood. Geelong set up the win in the first term out scoring Fremantle by 42 points. From this point on the game was never really in doubt with Fremantle trying but just not being able to produce pressure on the scoreboard. (more…)

Fremantle has secured a home final week one of the finals with a hard fought victor over a gallant Carlton. The Blues kicked the first two goals of the game and led after the first term. Fremantle however took over proceedings and went into the final term with a 29 points lead.
